The Northern Flicker has to be the loudest bird in our neighborhood. We hear them 99% more
than we see them. They mostly don't stray from the edge of our woods and have been
elusive to photograph. I got these pictures while watching Hummingbird wars. I noticed
Miss Flicker sitting on our fence. I swear it looked like she was watching the Hummingbird
wars with me. |
